Parameters
Viper SD4 AFT
All-metal two-seater aircraft with an MTOW of 600 kg, designed for the basic training of military pilots. Thanks to its excellent equipment, excellent flight characteristics and low operating costs, the Viper SD4 AFT is a great choice for training air force pilots.
Efficient braking system
Braked main wheels, front steered wheel, brake system on the control stick.
Launch rescue system
A ballistic rescue system for the entire aircraft mounted on the centerboard. The system activator is in the pilot’s seat below the instrument panel.
HOTAS (Hands On Throtle And Stick)
Availability of the necessary controls close to the throttle and the control lever. Flight control camera in the cockpit.
Useful aircraft lighting
Two LED landing lights are built into the front of the hull. On the end curves of the wings, it consists of exterior position lamps with LED technology in green and red with integrated flashing lights of a bright white color and one flashing light on the tail surface.
Coloring as Albatrosses
The gray-orange color clearly indicates that the training aircraft is easily identifiable from the ground. The overall design is directed toward the air force segment.
A directional rudder
effectively increases directional stability during take-off
A redesigned idea of a military special
Applied changes to the cockpit and equipment for basic training of air force pilots, together with the addition of a combination of digital and analogue instruments to the cockpit for the training of emergency procedures as well as for basic training of instrumentation procedures, including precision approach.
Air Force concept
Perfect design, visual and configuration of military training aircraft
Efficiency and convenience
State-of-the-art avionics technologies at minimal operating costs
Glass Cockpit
Avionic equipment
The Air Force Trainer instrument panel is designed to be compatible with the basic requirements of primary air force training. Digital instruments 2 x EFIS (1 switchable), 1 x EMS complements the set of analogue instruments (compass, speedometer, altimeter, variometer, turn and ball meter, tachometer), analogue on-board clock with stopwatch. The training configuration is completed by: CDI – course deviation indicator/descending axis position indicator and chassis exercise control + LED indicator position (Viper SD4 has a fixed chassis). Communication equipment consists of radio 8.33 MHz VOR/ILS (NAVCOM), CDI+GS indicator, GPS, ELT, two-axis autopilot (HDG, ALT, NAV, HOLDING).

Configuration
Small Large Training Special
The configuration and equipment of the Air Force Trainer aircraft is structurally, but also instrumentally focused on the quality training of flight procedures for air force pilots. The conceptual core lies in the focus on emergency procedures, ILS and VOR precision approach and landing. Exercise of instrument flying and flying according to autopilot, which meets the quality level of modern instruments in serially produced transport or military aircraft.
